DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration management solutions.
• Collaborate with development, QA and support team to streamline deployment processes.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various applications.
• Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of CI/CD tools and processes.
• Manage and maintain production and development environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and deployment.
• Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions for applications and infrastructure.
• Respond promptly to system alerts and incidents.
• Implement and maintain security best practices for infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate with the security team to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Work closely with development teams to understand their requirements and provide infrastructure solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Train and mentor team members on DevOps best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role (4-6 years).
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms mainly AWS.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, AWS code commit, code pipeline etc.
• Solid knowledge of system administration and networking.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate) are a plus.
